The Bishop Burton College U25 CCI3* runners and riders got their preliminary taste of Bramham 2014 when they had their first horse inspection in the evening sunshine in the shadow of Bramham House.  22 go forward to tomorrow’s dressage which gets underway at 11:30am.

Bishop Burton are celebrating ten years of sponsorship here at Bramham and it’s great to see them here again.  This section has grown in stature over the years and is now a recognised springboard for international talent – if you can win big at Bramham, you have the talent to go all the way.

Jeanette Dawson OBE, principal and chief executive of Bishop Burton College, said: “I have really enjoyed this relationship with Bramham Horse Trials.

“It has been exciting to witness this competition for young riders grow into the key showcase for equestrian talent that it now is. This is the class to watch to see the superstars of the future.

“The general public probably aren’t aware how much our students also benefit from this sponsorship. There are course walks, visits – they get to really experience our involvement with such a major event in the equestrian calendar.”
