Pony Club Mounted Games

Many successful riders across all disciplines have been members of the Pony Club, which is the largest association of riders in the world with over 40,000 members who belong to 357 branches or 347 centres.

We hold two Pony Club Competitions at Bramham, both of which are invitation only.

Details of both the Mounted Games and the Team Show Jumping are below.

NB: All horses must be vaccinated in accordance with FEI Rules, passport checks will be carried out on every single horse. This information relates to all horses including those bringing companion horses. The current FEI rules require horses to be vaccinated 6 monthly. Queen Mary’s School Pony Club Team Show Jumping

This competition is for teams of three or four horses or ponies, each to be ridden by a different rider, none of whom have attained their 25th birthday by 1st January 2026. The competition is strictly invitation only.

Each team will jump the course once and the winning team will be the one who has the least number of faults, with the best three scores in each team to count. Fences will not exceed 105cm.

In the event of equality of faults, there will be a jump-off, in which the whole team will participate. Should this produce equality of faults, the team with the shortest aggregate time for the three riders with the least number of faults will be the winner.

There is a prize for the best turned out team, kindly sponsored by Nicky Morrison.

Horslyx Pony Club Mini Major

  1. Table A4, includes time faults.
  2. Mini riders to jump first, once landed their final fence the major ride can begin their round.
  3. Timing starts when Mini rider goes through the start and end when the major rider goes through the finish.
  4. All riders are Pony Club registered
  5. Heigh, 85cm – 90cm for mini round and 105cm for Major round
  6. Mini Riders must be 14yrs and under on ponies
  7. Major Riders must be 16yrs and over on horses
